About Me

My name is Ailsa Meldrum, I am a Person Centred Counsellor based in West Lothian and I hold sessions just a few minutes away from Livingston North Train station on the main Edinburgh to Glasgow line.

People come to counselling for many reasons: to understand their thoughts and feelings or to look at anxiety, stress or depression; some people come to deal with the loss of a loved one; some would like support to make important life decisions and choices.

Whatever your reasons for considering counselling, know that, as a Person Centred Counsellor, I believe that you are the expert in your own life. I will travel alongside you, I will listen to you, I will support you and I will never judge you.

It can be a difficult decision to begin counselling, yet every journey begins with a single step. It takes courage to look into yourself, understand yourself and see where you would like to make changes. Believe in yourself and take that first step with me.

I will provide a safe, comfortable space where we can explore your thoughts and feelings in an atmosphere of mutual trust and confidentiality and together we will explore the possibilities for change.
